We didn’t capture the exact moment Delainey and Josh crossed paths their Senior year of high school, but we did get to capture other monumental moments of their lives after 6 solid years together. Before the engagement shoot we knew that the two of them were going to be so much fun to work with, their vision screamed story telling and fluid movement which is totally our jam! But what won over our hearts was the way they love one another. They illuminated that love during their engagement session, rolling around in the mud while laughing and soaked to the bone from balancing on broken tree branches to dirty dancing moves.
As a photographer, you see many love stories with so many different couples but what made Delaney & Josh shine was how kind and caring they are to their family and friends (many of whom flew in from Colorado) and their sweet Golden Retriever (Nala).
Their wedding day was pure perfection hosted by Aurora Farms in Greenville, South Carolina with an exchanging of personal written vows under a beautiful weeping willow tree surrounded by all of their loved ones. Butterflies incorporated in Delainey's veil, earrings and their invites to symbolize the passing away of someone dear to them (Josh's Aunt).
Their reception was filled with entertainment from a live painter (surprise gift from Josh to Delainey) and choreographed dances. The fun continued with one spectacular send off of cold sparks and twinkling lights in the trees surrounding them!
Their Love story doesn't stop there, Delainey & Josh see themselves falling in love with each other day in and a day out, watching Marvel movies and tv/series endlessly, going on many more hikes with Nala, living in as many states as they can, traveling to exciting places, and being dog parents together till the day they die!
